Midwifery prenatal visits are encouraged during the developmental stages of your baby. We take the time to address your physical and emotional needs to ensure that your prenatal experience is one that you'll enjoy. Services during your visit can include urine assessments, blood pressure testing, nutritional counseling, and fetal heart monitoring and measurements.
We suggest that you call as soon as you've gone into labor. There you will experience the freedom to move around as needed, eat what you'd like when you'd like, and relax in whatever way feels good for your body. The combination of support and comfort from your family and our team, is beneficial in facilitating your birth.
To ensure that you receive the best possible care for you and your newborn baby, our team will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide support, physical exams, assist with breastfeeding, and answer any questions you may have. All of these services can be provided to you in the comfort of your home. Our goal is to stay connected with you for a healthy development.
To ensure that you receive the best possible care for you, because of that it’s important to take care of your health and we strive to make these appointments engaging and empowering. We offer Full Service Well Person care, including Pap smear, Pelvic exams, Breast Exams, STD screenings and blood work.
A California Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife, Certified Birth educator, and Certified doula, I have served the LA, OC, Inland Empire areas for over 12 years.
Experience includes: Natural, Medicated, VBAC, C-Section births, and surrogacy.
Supporting all birth methods: Bradley, Birthing Within, Hypnobirthing, Hypnobabies, Lamaze, and more
Professional birth assistants and certified midwife assistants add value to your team of support your family's birth. All assistants are NRP, CPR/BLS certified and have worked in the birth world for a number of years.
Team members work during the labor and birth time, and support the overall needs of the midwife and the families that they serve.
We love Doulas! Doulas add to the comfort and support to the family. Doulas nurture, support and offer expert guidance for families during their pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum time. There is incredible evidence that shows how birth doulas improve outcomes.
